On Monday, October 1, the opening of the 2018–2019 academic year took place at the Faculty of Hydrotechnics – Automation and Applied Informatics specialization, within the Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest. Omega Trust, together with Smart Alliance – Innovation Technology Cluster, participated in the event as partners.
UTCB is one of Omega Trust’s important partners, and our collaboration covers three key areas: development of joint projects, internship programs for students within Omega Trust – IT Department, and hiring students who stand out during the internship programs.

Present at the event, Ștefan Grigore, Manager of the Consulting and European Funds Department within OMEGA Consulting, a business line of Omega Trust, stated:
“We were extremely satisfied with the students who joined our company this summer for internship programs. Their capabilities exceeded our expectations, and we want to continue our partnership with UTCB.” He believes that the lack of experience is often replaced by the desire to learn more and try new things.
At the same time, Emanuela Modoran, CEO of Smart Alliance – Innovation Technology Cluster, considers the partnership to be highly important:
“We are continuously striving to improve when it comes to preparing future innovators of the Romanian ICT market. The Faculty of Automation and Applied Informatics is one of our most important partners in creating the best context for students to develop their skills and apply what they learn.”
The Technical University of Civil Engineering Bucharest (UTCB) is one of the top universities in Romania, with tradition and wide national and international recognition.

UTCB is the only technical university in Romania exclusively dedicated to training highly qualified specialists in civil engineering, hydrotechnical engineering, railways, roads and bridges, building installations, construction machinery and equipment, geodesy, as well as other related fields within the construction sector. Following institutional evaluation by ARACIS, UTCB received the rating “High Degree of Confidence.”
